Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park – the jewel of Vietnam

Location

Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park is located in Quang Binh Province. It is the large park that extends through 3 districts of the province such as Quang Ninh District, Bo Trach District and Minh Hoa District.
This is the great place for exploring the amazing nature with the incredible works that Mother Nature created in this area. The evidences for this typically are Phong Nha Cave and Son Doong Cave. They make many explorers of the world who are surprised by their structure. Then now the park is the World Natural Heritage by UNESCO, it still makes people not be stopped surprising by its rich resource and about 300 caves with different size.


Area: 343.300 ha in which there are different part with its own structure and function.
Climate: There is the tropical monsoon climate in this park. The average temperature in the park is from 23 to 25 C Degree. It is considered that the best time for exploring the park is from April to August.
Transportation: Travel conveniently by land combined river way to explore the park.

Landscapes

Son River: This is the river that flows around Ke Bang Limestone Mountain. The river flows from Phong Nha Cave Entrance. The river is attached with different interesting legend to make the landscape to be more wonderful.
Mooc Spring: Mooc Spring is the eco tourism destination in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. There is the waterfall that has the same name here. The spring is located far from Phong Nha Tourist Place about 10 km by the land and 6 km by the river.
Phong Nha Cave System: This is one of three main cave systems in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. It is nearly 50 km of the cave in the system that were surveyed but you can explore about 1.500m of it by the terrain and condition in the system.   
Phong Nha Cave: It is typical cave in the Phong Nha Cave System. This is considered one of the best caves of the world by its value. It takes you about 30 minutes by boat following Son River. The cave is more than 7.000m long with many magical stalactites.
En Cave:  the cave is in Phong Nha Cave System. This is the very large cave in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park with 1.6 km long. There is the spring flows in the cave and its stream leads to Son Doong Mountain.
Tien Son Cave: the cave is located far from Phong Nha Cave about 1000m. The cave is nearly 100m long in which there is 400m long that you can explore. Tien Son Cave is considered the dry cave with its amazing stalactites.  
Thien Duong Cave: this is the dry cave with many stalactites. The cave is 31 km long in which there is more than 1 km that you can explore.  

Son Doong Cave: Son Doong Cave is considered a phenomenon in the exploring the caves in Phong Nha Ke Bang National Park. This is the largest caves in the park. It is also one of the largest caves in the world till this moment. Son Doong Cave is the magnificent cave fascinated all explorers when have chance to visit it.
