exploring, take a short trip with 3 days in the Mekong Delta with a night in Ben
Tre. It is enough for you to have special experience about the life
style in this place.
Day 1: Sai Gon – Ben Tre
Pick up you at the
hotel in Sai Gon and transfer to Ben Tre. Arrive in a homestay; you have
a short time for relax. In the afternoon, you have time for fishing and then
have a boat trip on the river to enjoy the atmosphere in the countryside. Come
back to the homestay, cook the dinner with the host and then enjoy the dinner
with the local dishes which prepared by you yourself in the warm of the family
dinner. After dinner you enjoy the romantic time in the quiet and peaceful
space of the countryside. Overnight at the homestay.
Day 2: Ben Tre – Can Tho
You have your
breakfast at the homestay. And take a bike trip around. You visit the local
market to know more about the activities of local people. And the trip leads
you to the orchard garden where you have chance to talk with the gardeners
about their work. You also know more about some technique of gardening of local
people. Then you visit the old church with its unique architecture existed for
a long time. After visiting the typical places around, you transfer to Can
Tho. Can Tho is far from Ben Tre more than 100km and it takes you about
3 hours for transfer. Arrive in Can Tho, it is time for your check in hotel.
Time is for your leisure. You will walk to Ninh Kieu Wharf to enjoy the fresh
air from the Hau River and the nice evening in the local lifestyle.
Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 3: Can Tho – floating market – Sai Gon
In the early
morning you have a boat trip to visit Cai Rang floating market. This is
one of typical floating market in the Mekong Delta. In the trip to explore the
special things in the floating market, you will know more about the trading
activites of the local people in Mekong Delta where the boats like the shops
displayed many things such as fruits, vegetable, etc. After visiting the
floating market, you return to hotel, have your breakfast and then drive back
to Sai Gon. Arrive in Sai Gon. End the trip.
