Ninh Thuan Province


Located in the circle of the tourism area included Khanh Hoa Province, Binh Thuan Province and Lam Dong Province, Ninh Thuan Province has its potential itself to develop the tourism. The province is well known with the famous beach named Ninh Chu and Vinh Hy Bay. It is not less attractive than the neighboring provinces for tourism.
Ninh Thuan Province is bordered with Khanh Hoa Province to the north, with Binh Thuan Province to the south, with Lam Dong Province to west and with The East Sea to the east.

  • Vinh Hy Bay: belongs to Ninh Hai District. The bay is far from Phan Rang – Thap Cham City more than 40 km. It is ideal place for diving because there are a lot of corals. Visit the bay to have your unforgettable time for swimming, diving and enjoy fresh seafood.
  • Ca Na Beach: the beach is located along the Highway No 1. It belongs to Thuan Nam District and far from Phan Rang Thap Cham City about 30 km. If you have around trip in the country, you will have chance to enjoy the fresh air and nice beach time in here.
  • Nam Cuong Sand Dunes: this is an amazing destination with the endless sand dunes. It is the fascinating place with the sand dune as the shining waves under the sun. This sand dune is the ideal point in your art pictures. The sand dunes are in Ninh Phuoc District.
  • Ngoan Muc Pass: this is the impressive pass that challenges you by its spectacular. If you have the trip from Da Lat to Ninh Thuan or Ninh Thuan to Da Lat, you will have chance to conquer this pass.
  • Nui Chua National Park: the park is more than 24.000ha in square. It belongs to Ninh Hai and Thuan Bac Districts. The park owns the rich flora and fauna system. It is the value destination for your explore.
  • Po Klong Girai Tower: the site is located on the Trau Hill. It is far from Phan Rang Thap Cham City about 7 km. Visit here to explore the architectural Champa with the towers that were built in XIII century.
  • Hoa Lai Tower: the site is far from Phan Rang Thap Cham about 15 km. It belongs to Thuan Bac District. The towers here were built in IX century. The site has its important value to let you know more about the architectural Champa in the pass.
  • Bau Truc Pottery Village: the village is located in Ninh Phuoc District. It is far from Phan Rang Thap Cham City about 10 km. There are the special ceramic products that made by hand here. Visit the village, you will see these special things, also the great skill in work traditionally through the time of the habitants here.

Kate Festival: this is the traditional festival of Cham people who live in Ninh Thuan Province. The festival is happened from 1st to 3rd of the 7th month of the Cham Calendar.
Cau Ngu Festival (festival of fishermen): the festiaval is happened from 20th to 23rd in May of the lunar year each three year. The festival is organized in Phan Rang Thap Cham City.
And there are many other unique festivals in the province.

Local specialties

There are different local specialties in the province such as seafood, rice with chicken, rice pancakes, fish salad, local garlic, grapefruit, local wine, local fish sauce and other typical specialties.
