In
each country, the airline is always one of the very important ways that contribute
the development of economy, transportation and society. It is the same in
Vietnam. Following the process of building the infrastructure of the country,
the airway is the important part that is focused on.
The
airway in Vietnam started its day in 1956 with 5 planes and the first domestic
flight in the same year. However passed through 20 years, the airway of the
country had not any impressive mark in its development. But from 1980, Vietnam
airway has its sound from reaching successfully the international routes to
some countries in Asia. From that moment, the airway step by step has confirmed
itself in the process of moving toward with notable achievements.
Nowadays
the airway in Vietnam plays very important roles in both areas including
services of the travelling and freight. In the country now there are 25
domestic airlines to 19 cities in the country and 39 international airlines to
15 countries in the world. Recent time, there are more than 20 airports including
3 big airports that are in international standard. They are Tan Son Nhat
airport in Ho Chi Minh City that considered the most important airport in the
South, Da Nang airport in Da Nang City that considered the main airport in the
Middle and Noi Bai Airport in Ha Noi that considered the only international
airport in the North at the moment. That is the notable result compassed by the
great effort through 15 year. And this achievement now has not been stopped here.
The airway of the country promises in the silent way with many projects that
will bring back the more and more achievements in the next period.
