If
you love to know about Vietnam history, especially the things that related to
the time war, you have known about Ho Chi Minh Trail or called Truong Son Trail. This
was the road that played very important role in the victory of Vietnamese
people for the independence. In the present, the trip to conquer this road that
becomes the important experience for whom who loves to understand the history
and look back the places where the bombs swept through. The places such as Buon Ma Thuot, Pleiku, Kontum and then Da Nang, Quy Nhon, etc. are the places where you
can find the wonderful landscapes, the rich nature with the green of the trees,
the gardens, the fields and peaceful life of kind people. All things do not
make you to feel that there is anyone who has to bear the pain of the past or
carry the tearful memory of the war that passed through.
Day
1: Sai Gon – Buon Ma Thuot – Don Village
Pick
up you at the hotel in Sai Gon and transfer to Buon Ma Thuot that located far
from Sai Gon about 350km. On the road you have a stop for visiting Dray Sap
waterfall. The waterfall is in Nam Ha Commune in Krong k’no Town that far from
Buon Ma Thuot about 30km. The waterfall is called the smoke waterfall that is
about 8m high in the dry season and more than 10m high in the rain time. And
you continue to come to Don Village which is the typical village of ethnic
people in the Highlands. In here you have chance to understand more about their
culture through the Cong Chieng Culture, also have a short time for culture
exchange through ruou can – the special type of ethnic liquid from pipes.
Overnight in Don Village.
Day 2: Don Village – Pleiku
Enjoy
your breakfast with local people and then drive an elephant to visit the
village. After that you take a dug-out canoe to conquer Serepok River. Then
leave Buon Ma Thuot, you transfer to Pleiku that is the main city of Gia Lai
province, The city is far from Buon Ma Thuot about 200km. Arrive in Pleiku, you
have a trip to visit YALY hydroelectric plant and T’nung Lake are the famous
destinations of the city. Overnight in Pleiku.
Day 3: Pleiku – Kontum
Have
your breakfast in Pleiku and the transfer to Kontum that far from Pleiku about
50km nearly. From here you visit the wood house was built 100 years ago. Time
for your leisure. Walk in the center of the city to know more about the normal
life of the habitants in the Highland. Overnight in Kontum.
Day 4: Kontum – My Son – Hoi An.
Have
your breakfast in hotel and leave Kontum. Take a trip along Ho Chi Minh Trails
to drive to Hoi An that far from Kontum 300km nearly. On the road, you have a
stop to visit My Son Holy Land called the valley of kings. The site is
considered one of the heritage of the world that recognized by UNESSCO.
Continue the trip to Hoi An and visit Hoi An Ancient town with some famous
destinations such as Japanese Bridge, Hoi Quan Phuc Kien or called Phuc Kien
Assemble, then the museum where displayed many antiques of the Sa Huynh
Culture. Time for your individual. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 5: Hoi An – Da Nang
Enjoy
your breakfast in the hotel and have a boat trip to visit Thu Bon River and
Thanh Ha pottery village where you know about the typical pottery products made
by clever craftsmen. Continue the trip to Da Nang that far from Hoi An just
several dozens of kilometers. On the road you have a stop to visit Cham Museum
where displayed the rich collection related to Cham Culture. Then you visit Ngu
Hanh Mountain called Marble Mountain that considered the symbol of Da Nang
city. Overnight in Da Nang.
Day 6: Da Nang – Quy Nhon
After
your breakfast, you transfer from Da Nang to Quy Nhon. This is the city belongs
to Binh Dinh Province and it is located far from Da Nang more than 300km.
Arrive in Quy Nhon, you visit Quang Trung Museum where displayed Tay Son
martial arts. After that you visit Banh It Tower and then Ghenh Rang which is
one of the wonderful sites of Quy Nhon and it is far from Quy Nhon about 3km.
And then you have time for swimming in Hoang Hau Beach called Queen Beach that
located not far from Ghenh Rang. Overnight in Quy Nhon.
Day
7: Quy Nhon – Nha Trang
Have
your breakfast in the hotel and then transfer from Quy Nhon to Nha Trang. The
road is about 230km and more. Arrive in Nha Trang, you visit Ponagar Tower and
know more about the architecture of Cham People in Nha Trang – Khanh Hoa.
Continue the trip to visit Chong Islet and some typical destinations of Nha
Trang such as Institute of Oceanography, Dam Market. Have your individual time
for walking in the Tran Phu Boulevard which is one of the best beach roads in
the country. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day 8: Explore Nha Trang
Enjoy
your breakfast in the hotel and the have a day trip to explore Nha Trang. You
have a boat trip to visit Tri Nguyen Aquarium then fish village to know more
about the normal and peaceful life of the fishmen. The trip leads you to Tam
Island that is one of the best islands in Nha Trang. From here you have some
minutes for swimming in the fresh water. And then you have lunch on boat. Get
back to the land. Time for your individual. Overnight in Nha Trang.
Day
9: Nha Trang – Sai Gon
Enjoy
the sunshine in the great morning in Nha Trang beach, swim, have your breakfast
in the hotel and then take a trip to Sai Gon. End the trip.
