If you have more
than a week to stay in Vietnam in the holiday, you can take a round trip
through all the typical destinations in the country. The trip 10 days from the
North to the South that gives you the great time to visit some old and nice
architectures in Ha Noi, have a short trip to explore Ha Long Bay, experience
the time of visiting the ancient destinations in the Middle and enjoy the
peaceful time of the countryside in Mekong Delta.
Day 1: Welcome to Ha Noi
The first day in
Vietnam, you have time for relax after the long flight and then prepare all
things needed for the trip in the day after. Overnight in Ha Noi.
Day 2: Visiting Ha Noi – Ha Long
Have your
breakfast in the hotel and have a short time to visit Ha Noi with some
destinations such as Tran Quoc Pagoda, One Pillar Pagoda
and the Temple of Literature. Three places have their special
architectures and also old ages and you can find here some interesting stories
that attached with them through the time. In the afternoon, you take a trip to Ha
Long – a city of Quang Ninh Province that far from Ha
Noi more than 2 hours for transfer. Arrive in Ha Long, it is time for your check
in hotel and then relax. Overnight in Ha Long.
Day 3: Explore Ha Long Bay – Ha Noi – Flight to Hue
Enjoy your
breakfast in the hotel and then take a boat trip to Ha Long Bay; from here you
have unforgettable views of the stone islets that located particularly on the
sea. You have time for some sightseeing as Thien Cung and Dau Go Caves, then
Titop Island. These places with their special features make the bay to become
one of the heritages of the world. Come back to the land and then return to Ha
Noi. You transfer to Noi Bai Airport and take a flight to Hue in the evening.
Overnight in Hue.
Day 4: Hue Citytour in a day
Hue is the city of
ancient time with some typical architecture Tu Duc, Khai Dinh and Minh Mang
Tombs that were built in the Nguyen Dynasty’s Time. Through these
architectures, you know more about the art, culture and also some stories that
related to Nguyen Dynasty in the past. Then you visit Dong Ba Market where you
understand more about the normal life of local people in their daily trading
activities. After that you have a boat trip to Thien Mu pagoda that
considered one of the symbols of Hue city. In the evening you have dinner and
listen to traditional music. Overnight in Hue.
Day 5: Hue – Da Nang – Hoi An
From Hue, you
transfer to Da Nang that is the youngest and develop city of the Middle.
You have chance to pass through the famous pass of the Middle called Hai
Van Pass. Have from here the great moment before the particular natural
site. Then you visit Cham Museum to know more about the
Cham Culture through the value collection displayed here. And you have your
time to enjoy the wonderful natural picture form Marble Mountain or called
Ngu
Hanh Mountain which is one of the symbols of Da Nang City. After
visiting Marble Mountain, you continue the trip to Hoi An far from Da Nang just
several dozen of kilometers. Arrive in Hoi An. It is time for your leisure.
Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 6: Visiting Hoi An Ancient Town and free time
Have your breakfast
in the hotel and start the time of exploration of Hoi An Ancient Town. You
will visit some typical architecture here such as some ancient house and Japanese
Bridge with special architecture that existed in the 17th
century when Hoi An Town was the bustle commercial town. After that you have your
free time for visiting Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.
Day 7: Da Nang – Flight to Sai Gon
Enjoy your
breakfast in Hoi An then come back to Da Nang to take a flight to Sai
Gon. Sai Gon is also called Ho Chi Minh City which is the biggest city
in the South. In here you have a haft day to visiting the city with some famous
places in the center like Ben Thanh Market, Notre Dame Cathedral
and Central
Post Office. There places have their architectural characteristics in
French style. You have your free time in the evening. Overnight in Sai Gon.
Day 8: Sai Gon – Can Tho
Have your
breakfast in Sai Gon and continue the trip to explore Sai Gon with some destinations
such as Chinese Market, Vinh Nghiem Pagoda. You will know more about
the life and activities of Saigonees. After that you transfer to Can
Tho called the capital of the Mekong Delta. It takes you 4 hours
nearly. Arrive in Can Tho, you have time for walking on Ninh Kieu wharf where
you enjoy the breezes from the Hau River and experience the bustle life of the
local people in the late afternoon to the evening. Overnight in Can Tho.
Day 9: Can Tho – Cai Rang floating market - My Khanh Village
You have a boat
trip to Cai Rang floating market early. From here you know more about
the trading activities of habitants here on the river specially. You can find
the fruit boat, the vegetable boat and many things are traded as in the markets
in the land. Continue your trip to My Khanh Village where you have your
great time for visiting the orchard garden, ancient house in the Southerner
style in the past and have some other activities as a gardener in the
countryside here in the village. Overnight in My Khanh.
Day 10: My Khanh – Sai Gon – End the trip
Have your fresh
morning in My Khanh Village and then take a boat trip to visit Phong
Dien floating market which is one of the biggest floating markets in
Mekong Delta. This floating market opens all day. There are the fruit boats, vegetable
boat, also the boats like the shops where you can buy or repair the gardening
tools or have cloths as in the clothing stores in the land. After visiting
Phong Dien floating market you drive back to Sai Gon and transfer to airport to
take a flight for return home. End the trip.
