Son
La, Dien Bien, Lai Chau and Sapa are the places that considered the neighbor
lands together as a special corner of the highland in the North in Vietnam. If
have a chance to visit these destinations, you will complete the perfect
journey to explore the nature and the culture with specific feature of the
ethnic groups.
Day 1: Ha Noi – Son La
Pick
up you at the hotel in Ha Noi, transfer to Son La. This is one of the provinces
in the highland in the North of the country. There is Son La that plays the
role of the capital of the province. It takes you about 4-5 hours to transfer
from Ha Noi to Son La city. On the road to Son La, you have a stop in Moc Chau
that is the town located far from Ha Noi about 186km. In Moc Chau, you have
time to visit the romantic town and some ethnic group like White Thai and Black
Thai ethnic groups. Continue the trip to Son La. Overnight in Son La.
Day 2: Son La - Dien Bien
After
your breakfast, you will visit the prison that was built by French the time war
in Vietnam. Through the story and some details relating to the prison, you will
know how the people here fight for their ideal. Leave Son La, the trip leads
you to Dien Bien – a province located closely Son La. Dien Bien is famous with
Dien Bien Phu City and the historical relic named Dien Bien Phu Battle. Dien
Bien is also the great province with the impressive landscapes. Before to come
in the center of the Dien Bien, you will have a wonderful time when conquer Pha
Din Pass that is pass with amazing view in the North of the country. You will
have some chances to meet some ethnic groups along the road you pass through.
There is the place that you will visit before check in time in the hotel is the
museum in Dien Bien with the rich collection relating to the province.
Overnight in Dien Bien.
Day 3: Dien Bien – Lai Chau
Have
your breakfast and then take a trip to Dien Bien Phu Battle where brings you
some details relating to the time war in Vietnam. After that you transfer to
Lai Chau that located to the south west of Dien Bien. In here you will visit
some ethnic groups like Thai ethnic group, Hmong ethnic group and Dao people to
know more about the local life and their rich culture. Overnight in Lai Chau.
Day 4: Lai Chau – Sapa
Sapa
is the main town of Lao Cai province that located closely Lai Chau to the west.
You spent not so much time for transfer from Lai Chau to this province. Before
coming in the center of the province, you will have time to visit Silver
Waterfall that is one of the very famous destinations of the town. The
waterfall is 100m high and it is far from the center of the town about 15km.
After visiting the waterfall, the trip leads you to the center of the town.
Overnight in Sapa.
Day 5: Explore Sapa
It
is said that Sapa is the main point that attracts tourists so much if they are
interesting in the trip to the highland in the North of Vietnam. The visiting
day of your will begin with the fist destination that named Cau May. This is a
famous bridge that made by the rattan connecting two banks of Muong Hoa spring.
The next place for your visiting is Cat Cat Village that located not far from
the center of the town. You have a lot of things relating to the ethnic group’s
life here. And you will come to Lao Chai Village to know more about the
specific feature of the ethnic groups, also to explore some nice natural
corners of the village. After visiting Lao Chai Village you return to the
center of the town. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 6: Sapa – Ha Noi
Welcome
the last morning in the highland of the North, have your breakfast with the
best state in the pure atmosphere and then come back to Ha Noi. End the trip.
