Sapa and Bac Ha are two famous
towns of Lao Cai Province that located in the North of Vietnam. These places
impress tourists by their wonderful landscape, pure environment and the colorful
culture of the ethnic groups. Besides visiting here, a great chance for knowing
more about the local cuisine also the specialties that brings the unforgettable
memories to all tourists.
Day 1: Ha Noi – Lao Cai
From Ha Noi, you will take a
night train to Lao Cai. You will spend nearly 8 hours for transfer. Overnight
on train.
Day 2: Lao Cai – Sapa
Sapa is one of two famous towns
of Lao Cai Province. Sapa is located far from Lao Cai Station about 40km. You
start the day to visit Sapa with the destination named Ham Rong Area – one of
the best eco tourism areas of the town. After visiting Ham Rong, you come to
the center of the town for relaxing and check in. In the afternoon, you have
your trip to explore the town around. And if the day is Saturday, you have
chance to visit the local market called the love market of the ethnic group
where you explore the interesting things in their culture. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 3: Explore Sapa
You have your free time to enjoy
the nice morning in the town in the pure environment and wonderful nature. You
can visit around the center of the town, have some coffee in some coffee shops
in the center or enjoy some delicious local dishes to feel closely the local
life.
In the afternoon, the trip leads
you to Cat Cat Village where you know more about the ethnic group’s culture
with its specific feature. After that you visit Cau May that is the special
bridge made by the rattan and the visit Silver Waterfall to enjoy the most
beautiful corners of this place. Overnight in Sapa.
Day 4: Sapa – Bac Ha – Lao Cai
Bac Ha is the town that same with
Sapa town in Lao Cai province. It is located far from Sapa about 100km and you
spend about 3 hours to transfer. Bac Ha is well known with its famous fair
called Bac Ha Market where you will see clearly the culture of the ethnic
groups through their trading activities. Beside you can enjoy the best local
specialties or the best local dishes cooked by local people. After that you
return to Lao Cai and take a train to return to Ha Noi. The road from Bac Ha to
Lao Cai is about 65km and it takes you just about 2 hours for transfer.
Overnight on train.
Day 5: Ha Noi
Arrive in Ha Noi in the early
morning. End the trip.
Depart: 21:00 to have a night
train from Ha Noi at 22:00
